地狱变

The Underworld landscape



《地狱变》关注于生活中不易被察觉的事物的局部,运用独特的图像处理技术打破现实与幻想的边界。作品试图从消费主义构建的符号景观中生成出一条逃逸线,将现实的编码解域化后再重新建构自我的世界。一切都在绮丽中燃烧、崩塌,轮回又消解。

作者通过选取不同时间不同场域中极为普通的生活物像:墙壁、铁门、瓷砖等,将它们剥离、拆解再重新组合,叠加出一幅幅心理图景。营造出充满断裂与破碎的感受,是作者对自身精神状态以及当代社会的一种观照。

作品的最初的创作灵感来自与佛教的《地狱经变图》和唐卡的图样,结合抽象变现主义的艺术风格,介于一种构建与随机之间的状态。作品先抛掷出抽象的图案,无法让观者迅速地抓住他们所熟悉的具象世界元素作为锚点。大面积的颜色碰撞、自于被摄体本身的线条在画面里无明确逻辑的延伸、料本身的肌理(锈痕、木纹、光滑或粗糙的石材表面等)层层推进慢慢浮现,在细节处又冒出让人能联想到现实某物的形状。选择,生成,某些细节泄露了作者的意图,并且作者本身不介意这种“不完美”,在看似华丽的色彩中,划痕、锈迹、粗糙的肌理成为作品理所当然的一部分。如火瀑飞溅、电闪雷鸣又如遥远的星空永恒漂浮。时空消弥,生出一种梦境的涟漪,观者只能任凭其在这种陌生体验中漂荡。



“变” is the meaning of Image of Buddhism, which refers to the description of the scene of hell. Hell is derived from human imagination. The author selects very common living objects in different times and different fields: walls, iron gates, tiles, etc., strips them, disassembles them, and then reassembles them. A psychological picture is superimposed, creating a strange land full of rupture and fantasy. These weird and gorgeous pictures are the author's reflection on his own mental state and contemporary society.

Selection, generation, and certain details reveal the author’s intentions, and the author does not mind this “imperfection”. In the seemingly gorgeous colors, scratches, rust, and rough textures become a natural part of the work. Like fire splashing, lightning and thunder, and like a distant starry sky floating forever. The author tries to generate an escape line from the symbolic landscape constructed by consumerism, deterritorializes the coding of reality and then reconstructs the self-world.

Everything burns and collapses in beauty and the cycle of reincarnation dissolves again. The shock generated by this rupture and generation will continue to permeate and echo in the spiritual world of the viewer.
